We need someone who can look at a product and find what's wrong with it before anyone else does. You'll test web and mobile apps for clients across fintech, healthcare, e-commerce, and blockchain, writing test cases that cover every scenario and edge case that matters.
What You'll Be Doing
Perform end-to-end manual testing of web and mobile applications across multiple browsers and devices.
Write detailed test cases covering functional, regression, smoke, integration, and edge case scenarios.
Execute test cases against acceptance criteria and report results with pass/fail status and evidence.
Perform exploratory testing to uncover defects beyond scripted test cases.
Test REST APIs using Postman to validate endpoints, response data, status codes, and error handling.
Validate payment flows, checkout processes, and transaction accuracy for e-commerce and fintech clients.
Log bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, screen recordings, expected vs actual results, and severity.
Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before release sign-off
Test across iOS and Android mobile browsers and devices to ensure responsive behavior and platform consistency.
Maintain and update test plans, test case repositories, and traceability matrices.
Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and test review meetings.
Coordinate UAT with stakeholders and provide go/no-go recommendations for production releases.
Use AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot to generate test scenarios, identify edge cases, and speed up test documentation.
What We're Looking For
✓1-2 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing across web, mobile, or API applications.
✓Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies with sprint-based delivery.
✓Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman including writing assertions and chaining requests.
✓Experience testing complex business flows like payments, subscriptions, checkout funnels, or financial transactions.
✓Proficiency with bug tracking and project management tools like JIRA, Linear, or ClickUp.
✓Basic SQL knowledge for backend data validation and verifying database state after transactions
✓Strong ability to write clear, structured test cases with preconditions, steps, expected results, and edge cases
✓Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and mobile browsers.
✓Understanding of HTTP methods, REST API concepts, status codes, and request/response validation.
✓Excellent written communication for detailed bug reports with reproduction steps, screenshots, and severity classification.
✓Experience working with remote, distributed teams across multiple time zones
✓Familiarity with using AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, or Gemini to generate test cases, explore edge cases, and accelerate test documentation.
Nice to Have
+ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
+Basic knowledge of test automation using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, ability to read and understand automated test scripts.
+Experience using AI-powered testing tools for test case generation, exploratory testing suggestions, or defect prediction.
